Army Dagger
Here we have a generic Model 1935 Army Dagger (Reichsheer Offiziersdolch)! The unmarked blade on this one has stain and age. The fit is perfect. The blade rates an easy Exc. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The dent-free steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail. The throat retaining screw continues to remain intact. The zinc-alloy based, heavily nickel-silver plated crossguard provides beautiful detail throughout with matching patina. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns that have wonderful burnishing that make those oak leaves and acorns pop right out at you! The trylon grip on this one is practically perfect! Minor bumps but that’s it, no cracks or chips. A nicely matching example!
