Here we have a nice correct 3rd pattern Model 1935 Army Dagger (Heer Dolch)! The unmarked blade on this one is pretty nice if you can forgive a few dots of age. The fit is perfect. The blade rates an Exc+. The original pebbled brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! The scabbard continues to hold its original throat retaining screw and remains completely dent free! The silver plating has patinaed throughout. The zinc based, silver plated, Holler style crossguard provides beautiful details throughout the eagle's head, wings, wreath and chest. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The galalith based grip on this has lots of wee surface cracks and to the lower it looks like someone glued a break back together.
