Japanese Retired Officer Badge
Officers were given enameled badges indicating their rank or position in the group. Roughly 35mm diameter vertical silver/enamel metal pin featuring a fouled anchor and crossed swords over which is affixed a brass five-pointed star. To the reverse is a narrow vertical pin, to each side of which are embossed a series of vertically arranged kanji characters.
