Here's an early Eickhorn all in early nickel silver! The blade on this one rates an Exc++. It remains bright with a solid fit, a perfect tip, and a beautifully executed maker mark! The blade has minor spotting. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The scabbard is in good condition. The scabbard body has some scuffs to the leather and there and a couple small spots where you can see the steel base. There are no dents and the lower has no screws. The solid nickel chain has 14 lower and 9 upper ringlets. Look at the "S" hooks that connect the scabbard with the chain, only seen on early examples. The scabbard fittings have nicely patinaed with age and have a few small marks. The upper has only one screw and was made this way. The hilt fittings are all nickel silver with separately inserted swastikas that remain in excellent condition. The grip is triple wrapped. There is normal wear to the grip but no abuse. Under the crossguard is unit marked.
