NSDAP Kreisleiter Armband

Armbinde für Ortsgruppenleiter des NSDAP (1939-45). It is a multi-piece construction, made out of a red wool base with rayon and bullion. The rectangular shaped obverse usually features an NSDAP pip above a machine embroidered back rayon swastika above a white rayon roundel, both of which are piped with gold rayon. The pip was missing and I purchased a correct original one and replaced it. To the center is a ¾ inch oak leaf strip bordered in a dual gold bullion strips and the top and bottom edges have a thin gold strip and are piped in soiled white cellon. The back side has a white ink stamped arrow showing "up". The armband has wear, the odd thread catch. It measures 5 1/8 inches tall by 20". A great piece!
