A Model 1938 Deutschen Rotes Kreuz (DRK) Führer Dolch. The bright blade on this one has been cleaned hard removing much crossgrain. There is a bit of pitting towards the lower obverse. It retains a nice and tight fit and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates an Exc+. The original black leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard looks good as well. It remains dent free and retains 97%+ of its plating. Both throat retaining screws remain intact. The zinc based, nickel-silver plated crossguard is in nice condition with the medallion displaying fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The pommel screw cap is looks good and is not chewed up like so many. The orange trylon grip is chip and crack-free. Nice example.
