2nd Model Luftwaffe by Alcoso

A Alcoso M1937 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger (Fliegerdolch). Here we have a nice Alcoso 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger! The blade on this one looks good. It has a nice tight fit and a beautifully executed, acid etched: "AWS Alcoso Solingen" maker mark! Overall the blade rates Exc+. It has some age and fingerprint stain. It continues to hold its original leather buffer pad. The steel based airplane grey scabbard Is in near perfect shape. It is dent-free with a both factory screws intact. There is plating loss to the body. The crossguard and pommel have perfectly matching patina, fine detail and burnished backgrounds. The white celluloid over wood grip looks great being chip and crack-free. The heavy brass, twisted, wire wrap remains in excellent condition and has a nice tight fit.
