E.Pack & Sohne Solingen was a prolific maker of the period. This particular model is 204 in their catalogue. The 34" uncleaned blade on this one rates Exc+. There is some scuffs and microscopic pimpling but over all very nice with good plating. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The blade is nicely marked. This one is illustrated in Angolia reference pg. 110. The black enamel painted scabbard shows wear, minor oxidation, small scratches and crazing. It has a small dent about 12" north of the reverse drag. The scabbard throat is secured by two dome head screws. The hilt and P-guard are beautifully detailed and deeply chiseled brass with honest wear to the high areas. The languet features an closed winged Wehrmact eagle. The black celluloid grip has a chip and a crack. Three twisted wires remain intact and tightly secured.
