A beautifully matching Model 1935 Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by Alcoso – Alexander Coppel of Solingen. The blade on this one looks good. The early acid etched “Alcoso ACS Solingen” maker mark is nicely executed! This has some minor age. The blade rates NM. The original large leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! Both original throat retaining screws remain intact. The silver plated generic eagle crossguard provides nice detail throughout the eagle’s head, wings, wreath and chest. The Alcoso pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns that are easily visible through the back burnishing. The deep orange chip and crack-free trylon grip.
