Miniature 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger with Dedication

A unique piece! This miniature Luftwaffe Dagger has a inscription "June 6th 1945 Solingen Germany". This dagger would have been manufactured before war's end then inscribed and sold to Allied occupiers. The bright plated blade on this one has a bend you can feel with your fingers. It is slightly dulled and features the dedication, “D.R.G.M.” and the “SMF Solingen” maker mark. The scabbard is lost to time. The aluminum based Luftwaffe eagle crossguard looks great! The ferrule and pommel are also in awesome shape with nice patina and the detailed oak leaves and acorns! The trylon wire wrapped grip looks excellent! It measures approx. 9 inches tall. A nice and unique piece!
