Here we have a textbook Robert Klass Army Dagger (Heer Dolch)! The bright blade on this one is beautiful!! It is tightly secured, with a perfect tip and beautifully executed "Kissing Cranes" Robert Klaas Solingen maker mark! The blade rates a solid NM with no excuses. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the hand enhanced bands and random pebbling throughout. The scabbard retains both of its original throat retaining screws and remains completely dent free! And again for you guys who know about the secret astrix marked on the bands yes, those are there! The silver plated Generic B crossguard, (exactly what Klaas used in later daggers) is in excellent shape retaining much lacquer. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns to burnished backgrounds. The celluloid over plaster grip on this one looks great! No chips, cracks or abuse. A nice example, so take good care of this baby!
