A Jeweler personalized 4th pattern Eickhorn Model 1935 Army Dagger (Heer Dolch). A beauty for sure with all matching patina! The bright blade on this one looks great! The acid etched "Original Eickhorn Solingen" maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain is stunning running the full length of the blade. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight. The blade rates an NM. No excuses here. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The nickel plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free. The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The silver plated Eickhorn crossguard provides wonderful detail throughout the eagle's head, wings, wreath and chest. Look at all the factory lacquer remaining!! The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. We some wear to the high areas where it rubbed. To the reverse is a Jeweler engraving, "P. Kannapin". The orange, trylon grip on this one is near perfect. This came out of the famous Denny Roach collection and has been researched by Robert McDivitt in 2004. This guy was a reserve Oberleutnant in Pionier-Btl. 11. This came to be with the Tinnie so you get it with the packet. Don't hesitate, this is the one to get!
