Army Dagger by Pack
A unmarked slant grip Model 1935 - Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by Ernst Pack M.B.H. Waffenfabrik of Solingen. The unmarked plated blade on this one is stone mint. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade is not a tapered tang. It rates mint with no need for excuses. The leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The steel based, nickel silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and oak leaf and acorn bands. The original throat retaining screws remain intact. The 1st pattern, (1935-1936) silver plated tombac crossguard provides beautiful details throughout the eagle's head, wings, wreath and chest. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with hand enhancing and the proud oak leaves and acorns. An interesting example for sure.
