Army Dagger by Alcoso
A Model 1935 - Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by Alcoso of Solingen. The blade on this one has age and stain The "ACS scales Alcoso Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed! The tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates a Mint-. The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based Alcoso, nickel-silver plated scabbard has some bumps and a dent to the lower obverse about 2" north of the drag. It provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and oak leaves and acorn bands. The throat retaining screws remain intact. The third variation Alcoso specific eagle crossguard shows wear and matching patina The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns! The trylon based grip is in excellent condition. The whole piece has patinaed with age.
