US IKE Field Jacket
A single breasted, fully-lined, olive drab wool waist-length tunic, with a four button French fly front closure that leads to a lay-down collar and lapels. The integral shoulder straps are buttoned sewn the neck. There are pleated patch pockets to each breast, whose scalloped flaps have no buttons, but a pair of snaps to each corner of the flap to keep them flat. Extending from the left waistband is a short tab, with a pair of metal snaps and a button that at its end. Both cuffs are straight and non adjustable. To the interior of the fully lined jacket, is a small white size label of "36R. 1950's vintage. There are a few moth holes the worse being to the wearer's right shoulder.
