Here we have a completely correct 4th pattern Eickhorn Model 1935 Army Dagger (Heer Dolch). The blade on this one has good crossgrain. The stamped last version, "over-the-shoulder" squirrel “Original Eickhorn Solingen” manufacturers mark is crisp and beautifully executed! The tip and fit are perfect. The blade rates NM. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard is gorgeous with wonderful age patina and traces of factory lacquer. It provides good detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free and the original throat retaining screw continues to remain intact. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated final pattern crossguard provides beautiful detail. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The yellow/orange trylon grip on this one is one tone darker to the obverse. A quality Eickhorn
