An early second pattern Heer Mützen Adler. It is constructed out of die stamped aluminum that has been silver washed. The obverse depicts a Heer eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons. All tombac prongs remain intact. The silver wash looks great. It measures 2 5/8 inches wide by 1 1/8 inches tall. A great piece!
