A Model 1935 - Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by E. Pack & Sohne of Solingen. The umnmarked blade on this one has a sharp tip with a bit of a "wave" where it may have been bent and later straightened again. It has some nail catchers and stain. The blade rates an Exc/Exc+. The blade on this one shows some staining and appears to have been cleaned. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail throughout, with the random pebbling and oak leaf and acorn bands. The scabbard continues to retain its original throat retaining screws and it remains completely dent free! The aluminum crossguard provides beautiful details throughout the eagle's head, wings, wreath and chest. The aluminum pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with hand enhancing and the proud oak leaves and acorns. The orange trylon grip looks beautiful with a wee nip to the obverse. A good piece at a good price!
