Extra-Seitengewehr 98K mit Seitengewehrtasche. The Horster marked plated blade on this one is in good condition! It has a nice mirror finish to it along with a perfect tip and solid fit! The maker mark is beautifully executed! The blade rates a solid Exc++ only suffering small scratches. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The black enamel painted scabbard retains 98% of its original paint with some rubs and spidering. It remains completely dent free. The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The nickel plated hilt retains 98% of its plating with some loss to the high areas. The button functions well and a red felt plug remains in the mortice slot. The black bakelite checkered grip plates are tightly fit and secured with two steel rivets. They are in near perfect condition with no cracks or chips anywhere. Included is a miny from and portepee. A solid piece at a great price!
