Unmarked Klaas JLL Variation 2nd Model Luftwaffe

A M1937 Fliegerdolch. Here's a nice example of what a Klaas 2nd luft should look like!. The quality factory polished blade on this example is in good shape! There is some minor scuffs along with runner marks but that's about it. The tip is perfect! The blade rates NM. The dent-free scabbard is in good shape with some minor wear. The textbook Klaas crossguard and pommel are beautifully detailed and in great condition. Look at the hand enhanced feathers to the eagle's breast, this variation was aptly named the JLL years ago by the GDC guys. The orange trylon grip has an invisible chip under the ferrule that made the blade a bit loose, I lovingly tightened it down and it's all tight now with no wiggle. No cracks, chips, splits or damage visible. The double twist brass wire is intact. Overall this one has a gorgeous body and an interesting hand work that will make for an excellent display!
