A beautifully lacquered matching Model 1935 Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by WKC (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie.) of Solingen. The blade on this one is very nice! The acid etched Knights Head “WKC Solingen” maker mark is perfectly executed. The crossgrain is very good reflecting in the light. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates Exc++. There are a few age spots that I have not tried to clean but that's it! The brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and leaf and acorn bands. The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The nickel silver plated tomahawk WKC eagle crossguard provides beautiful details throughout the eagle’s head, wings, wreath, beak and chest. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns throughout. The crack-free yellow trylon grip is in wonderful condition! There as some wee flakes to the reverse as is commonly seen on these Type B grips. All matching WKC components. A wonderful example!!!
