Q64 M42 Police Helmet

Here's one picked up locally. Undented shell is a post-war repaint over Police black. The interior reverse neck guard apron is serial number stamped, "542", and the interior left side apron is stamped with the manufacturers code and size, "Q64", indicating manufacture by F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H. Esslingen, size 64. All 3 liner retaining rivets remain. The interior of the helmet has a Police liner with a top pad. The natural cork spacers between the liner and the helmet shell are still intact. The liner has 10 original leather "fingers intact. Chinstrap is intact and complete. It is ink stamped size 58. Comes with an original chinstrap that is unmarked.
