This is a very nice WWII German flag, issued for the National Socialist League of the Reich for Physical Exercise (Nationalsozialistischer Reichsbund für Leibesübungen - NSRL). The flag is made of dyed wool fabric, with red field and a large white vertical stripe which contains the NSRL logo inside a large white circle. The logo is a rectangular Reichsadler (State Eagle), which has a canted Swas. (Hook Cross) in the middle. Nice example measuring approx. 54" X 40". The hoist end is folded over 3 times and has 7 cloth rings intact. To the top is a wee loop which is torn. It is unmarked. There are some old stains, (grease?) I have not tried to clean. No holes. This still displays well. A rare flag almost never offered for sale.
