M18 DD Si66 Luftwaffe Helmet
Nice stamped sheet steel construction M18 helmet with good paint. It retains about 95% of its hand painted blue paint. There are no dents. The left side of the helmet has a worn 2nd pattern decal which is retained about 90% with some honest wear. The right has a tri-shield retained at 80%. The helmet has all three liner retaining rivets and both ventilation lugs intact. The interior of the helmet has an age and usage darkened, tan M31 leather liner which is intact. It shows wear and chaffing with the original tie string. The chin strap remains. The side is stamped "Si66" indicating Eisenhuette Silesia and the size. The interior of this helmet is well marked to include ink stamps to the dome and reverse.
