E. Pack 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger

A M1937 Fliegerdolch by E. Pack & Sohne of Solingen. A very nice example textbook of a 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by E. Pack! The plated blade on this one has age stain and evidence of heavy cleaning. The "Siegfried Waffen Ernst Pack & Sohne MBH Waffenfabrik Solingen" maker mark is crisp and beautifully executed! The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard looks excellent! It depicts awesome details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. It remains completely dent free and both throat retaining screws remains intact! The burnished aluminum eagle crossguard, steel ferrule and pommel all look awesome! The eagle has amazing detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side oak leaves and acorns. The pommel is beautifully hand enhanced (with that unique E. Pack specific feature, dotted swas. backgound)! Just beautiful! The celluloid over plaster grip is chip and crack-free. The grip is in near perfect shape! The aluminum springy wire wrap remains tightly intact.
