Beautiful early brass example that's all hand enhanced by WKC! The blade on this one rates an easy Exc++. The tip is perfect and blade remains bright with a stamped WKC knight's head maker mark to the obverse. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The black enamel painted scabbard shows minor wear retaining 98% of it's factory paint. The scabbard remains dent free and the throat is secured by two dome head screws. There is some light surface oxidation. The brass hilt and flat-bow guard are beautifully detailed with wonderful details and hand enhancing! The languet features a closed winged Army eagle. The black celluloid grip is chip and crack free. The brass triple wire wrap is all intact with a some loose strands. Model Number 1060 (Found in Swords of Germany on page 138).
