Reverse Motto, Factory Error - Model 1937 Reichsarbeitsdienst Führer Haumesser. The single edged fullered blade on this one looks great. The acid etched “Arbeit adelt” motto is quite unique. It is on the reverse side. It is original and clearly a factory error. This holds a nice matte finish, as all RAD daggers should. The tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates an Exc++. There is heavy scratching and age grey throughout. The steel based, silver plated blued paneled and heavily lacquered scabbard looks excellent. It remains completely dent free and the original factory lacquer remains 90% intact. It displays wonderful details throughout, with the burnished: decorative swirls, random pebbling and wheat leaves. Both throat retaining screw remain intact. The scabbard sits perfectly up against the hilt perfectly. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated and burnished hilt looks great. There is some plating loss as is expected. The crossguard retains beautiful detail with the proud RAD emblem front and center. The white celluloid grip plates look great. There is a wee scratch to the spine. A unique piece no doubt!
