Ultra RARE - Earliest era Model 1933 Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser by G. Felix Gloriawerk of Solingen. This is the only knife that I have seen in my lifetime with this exact style maker mark. Based on construction this piece can accurately be dated to 1933. The blade on this one has aged. The acid etched “Blut und Ehre!” motto remains only slightly visible. The stamped “G. Felix Gloriawerk Solingen” maker mark is the best part about this one. The tip has been re-worked most likely by the original owner. The fit is nice and tight. The blade rates Exc. The leather buffer pad is lost to time. The sheet metal based black enamel painted scabbard is in aged condition as well. It holds 80% paint coverage and remains dent-free. It has oxidization spotting throughout. It one scabbard runner. The brown scabbard leather has been period repaired. The button strap has lost it button. The cast iron based nickel-silver plated hilt retains 80% of its plating. The grip plates are the black checkered bakelite. Both solid nickel-silver rivets remain tightly secured. The medium HJ diamond retains 95% of its enamel. This one is specifically for the maker mark collector. This piece is so rare it didn’t even make it to the book!
