A Treudienst-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe für 25 Jahre 1938. Instituted January 30, 1938, the 25 Year Faithful Service Cross was awarded to all officials, employees, and laborers at any level of the public service (local, regional or national) who completed 25 years of service. It is constructed out of a die struck nickel-silver base that has been silver washed and contains black enamel work. The obverse features a pebbled pattée style cross that has an oak leaf wreath visible through the corners and a centrally placed black static swastika / “Fur Treue Dienste” (For Faithful Service) to the reverse. To the top is a soldered loop and ring which holds approximately 4 inches of folded blue rayon ribbon and a stitched on well working brass based gilded pin assembly. The award measures 1 5/8 inches wide and tall.
