Hitler Youth Armband
HitlerJunge Kampfbinde. Introduced in 1933, this pattern armband was worn on the upper left sleeve of most all Hitler Youth uniforms as the identifying organizational insignia. It is constructed out of a multi-piece died cotton base that has been machine embroidered and stitched together. The obverse features a separately applied and centrally placed HJ emblem, which consists of a white diamond and a black embroidered mobile swastika, which is in front of a stitched white horizontal line and all lies on a red cotton backing. The top and bottom have chain link re-enforced stitching. The back has not been stitched to size. It has minor soilage, fold marks and a few frays. It measures 4 3/16 inches tall by 20 1/2 inches long. A great piece for any HJ / armband collection. Unissued.
