NSDAP Political Visor Cap Eagle by RZM M1/13
Here we have a 1939 Pattern NSDAP Political Visor Cap Eagle by RZM M1/13 (L. Christian Lauer, Nürmberg). It is constructed out of a die stamped nickel-silver base that has been silver washed. The obverse depicts a political eagle with out stretched wings, clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons. The hollow back reverse is maker marked “RZM M1/13” and three soldered on oval plate, flat wire prongs remain intact. It measures approximately 1 5/8 inches wide by 1 5/16 inches tall. Nice detail!
