Army Shooting Prize Miniature in Damascus
Very interesting piece here! The damascus blade on this one is a beauty! It is gold etched "fur hervorragendes schiessen" between two swas's and "Echt Damast" to the reverse. The scabbard is in has no rings and the one band i broke where the ring would go. It remains completely dent free with beautiful black burnish setting off the details. The Heer eagle crossguard is beautifully detailed. In my experience this guard is a Horster product. The ferrule and pommel are also in awesome shape with the detailed oak leaves and acorns! The orange trylon grip looks great having toned darker to the obverse. It measures approx. 20cm tall.
