A Model 1935 - Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by Puma of Solingen. The blade on this one is very nice. The later large "Puma Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed! The tip comes to a perfect point. No excuses required here. The buffer pad is lost to time. The steel based, nickel plated dent-free scabbard is in excellent condition! It provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and oak leaves and acorn bands. It has matching patina. The unturned headless throat retaining screws remain intact. The generic eagle crossguard shows wear and matching patina. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns! The chip and crack-free celluloid based grip is in excellent condition with minor wear. The whole piece has patinaed with age and sports a nice variant portepee and set of warn tabbed Army hangers.
