2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by Klaas - JLL variation

A M1937 Fliegerdolch by Robert Klaas of Solingen. Here's a nice example of what a Klaas 2nd luft should look like. The quality polished blade on this example is in good shape! There is some minor age along with runner marks. The tip is perfect and the stamped maker mark is beautifully executed! The blade rates Exc++. The dent-free scabbard is in good shape with some minor wear. The textbook Klaas crossguard and pommel are beautifully detailed and in great condition. Look at the hand enhanced feathers to the eagle's breast, this variation was aptly named the JLL years ago by the GDC guys. The orange trylon grip is flawless! No cracks, chips, splits or damage. Look how the sun and time has worked it's magic on the trylon tuning the obverse one tone darker than the reverse, you gotta love this stuff!! The double twist brass wire is intact. Overall this one has a gorgeous body and will make for an excellent display!
