Ground Rohm SA Dagger by E. Pack
A Model 1934 - Sturmabteilung Ehrendolch mit Widmung by Ernst Pack & Sohne of Solingen. A factory ground Rohm by E. Pack here just for you! The blade on this one has some grey. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto is is nicely done. The "E. P. & S. Solingen" maker mark remains 30% intact. It has a perfect fit and the tip is ever so slightly blunted! The 220mm blade rates in at an Exc/Exc+. The steel based, brown, undented anodized scabbard has some thinning to the finish from wear. There is no oxidizing. The lower scabbard fitting has some bumps and the ball retains it's correct profile. All four screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is good. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Wf", (Westfalen). The grip / crossguard fits are good! The light hardwood grip looks excellent. There are minor pressure marks throughout and a few wee hairlines to the lower guard fit. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit! The early copper SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 99% of its enamel. Included is a well worn hanger.
