Here we have a beautiful Model 1935 Army Dagger (Heer Dolch) by E. & F. Horster! The blade on this one is Exc++/NM. The acid etched "E. & F. Horster Solingen" maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The blade has not been cleaned and much grain remains. The fit is perfect and it has a perfect tip. There is some very minor age spots. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free and the original throat retaining screws continue to remain intact. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated crossguard provides beautiful crisp detail! The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The orange trylon grip on this one has a chip to the lower side. The hilt has a bit of a wiggle so I tried tightening the pommel unfortunately it's seized so I leave it as is. All matching patina. Nice Horster!
