2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by WKC
An interesting matching M1937 Fliegerdolch by WKC of Solingen. The blade on this one is stone mint. No excuses required. This employs all WKC fittings. The dent-free scabbard is a dark airplane grey example with excellent detail. The throat is secured by two unturned screws. The crossguard and pommel are have nice burnish to the backgrounds. This really sets off the celluloid over wood grip. The grip is near perfect with a normal wear. The twisted springy wire wrap remains and is a wee bit loose but not enough to try and tighten it. Now take a second and look at the grip. It's a rare variation we seldom see. It is wrapped in a single wire. 99% of grips use 2 wires. This uses a single wire!
