2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by WMW

Here we have a M1937 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger (Fliegerdolch) by WMW (Max Weyersberg Waffenfabrik) of Solingen. The blade on this one has some age and has been cleaned at some point. The stamped "WMW Waffen" remains. It has a perfect tip and solid fit. Some crossgrain remains visible. The blade on this one rates Exc. The leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The scabbard is steel based and airplane gray plated. It has wear and most of the plating is worn off leaving a light oxidized finish. It remains completely dent free and depicts nice detail throughout with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. The burnished eagle crossguard has nice detail to the eagles head, feathers, wings and top side embossed oak leaves and acorns. The steel ferrule and burnished aluminum pommel both look good. The trylon grip has no cracks or chips. The springy aluminum wire wrap remains tightly intact. There is a bit of looseness to the grip and I'm tempted to give the pommel a 1/2 turn but do not want to risk damaging this.
