A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by RZM M7/83 - Richard Plümacher Sohn of Solingen. The blade on this one looks excellent. The acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and “RZM M7/83” maker mark are both dark, crisp and beautifully executed. The crossgrain wonderfully shines against the light, running the full length of the blade. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight. It rates an Exc++/NM. It shows age grey, scratches and spotting throughout. The sheet metal based brown enamel paint scabbard looks wonderful. It retains 98%+ paint coverage and it is completely dent free. Minor spidering throughout. The steel-based nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings are in excellent condition. They retain 99%+ plating coverage. The ball holds a round profile and all four screws remain intact. The scabbard to crossguard fit is perfect. The crossguards are zinc based and nickel-silver plated. They show minor age bubbling matching the scabbard fittings. The brown hardwood grip looks great. There is a scratch to the right of the eagle and a hairline crack above the roundel. The aluminum based eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel is retains 90%+ of its enamel and also has a perfect fit. A rarer maker!
