SS II Class Marksmanship Sleeve Diamond
2.Schiessklasse Schützen Abzeichen. In November 1937 the SS introduced a series of four marksman’s sleeve diamonds. It is constructed out of hand embroidered rolled and bunched aluminum-silver bullion-flatwire to a black wool base that has been folded over and glued to a lacquered tan brown buckram base. The diamond shaped obverse features a three lined target and bullseye. The reverse shows the lacquered tan brown buckram base that is bordered in the black wool. It shows same age wear. It measures 2 inches wide by 3 inches tall.
