Early NSDAP Armband

NSDAP Kampfbinde/Armbinde. The official pattern armband was worn on the upper left sleeve of most all NSDAP uniforms as the identifying organizational insignia. It is constructed out of a cotton multi-piece base. The obverse features a machine stitched black swastika, on a white roundel that is stitched to a red base. The top and bottom have been folded over and stitched together. It shows age wear/soil and thread catches throughout. It measures 13 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches tall.
