Two piece SA - HJ Wettkämpfe Gruppe Tinnie Group.
SA & HJ Abzeichen 1939. It is constructed out of a die struck aluminum base that has been chemically burnished. The shield shaped obverse features an SA Sports Badge which depicts a vertical broad sword, in front of a mobile swastika, which is surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath that is tied together at both sides, with “SA” (top-left) and “HJ” (top right), all below a bannered: “Winterwehrkämpfe Aflenz 27.-29.1.1939”. The semi-full back reverse is maker marked: “RZM M9/235 Ulbricht Wien” and has a crimped-on well working steel pin assembly. It measures 1 ½ inches wide by 1 ¾ inches tall.
SA Abzeichen 1938. It is constructed out of a die struck aluminum base that has been silver washed. The round obverse features an SA Sports Badge which depicts a vertical broad sword, in front of a mobile swastika, which is surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath that is tied together at both sides, that is surrounded by: “Gruppe Franken Kampftage der SA 1938” (SA Franken Group Fight Day). The full back reverse is maker marked: “L. Chr. Lauer Nurnberg Berlin” and has a crimped-on well working steel pin assembly. It measures 1 11/16 in diameter.
