Army EM/NCO Visor Cap Eagle by B&N 37
Second Pattern c.1935-45 - Heer Mützen Adler by B&N 37 (Berg & Nolte AG. of Lüdenscheid, 1937). It is constructed out of die stamped aluminum-alloy base that has been silver washed. The obverse depicts a Heer eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons. The hollow-back reverse is maker marked: “B&L 37” and retains all three crimped-on aluminum prongs. The silver wash looks great. It measures 2 7/16 inches wide by 1 inch tall. A great piece!
