1st Pattern - Deutsches Rotes Kreuz. It is constructed out of a die struck tombak base that has been silver washed and contains black and red enamel work. The obverse features the 1935 pattern Red Cross (DRK) emblem which features a black closed winged eagle with a swastika to its chest clutching a red cross in its talons. The full back reverse is patent marked “Ges. Gesch.” and has a soldered-on round plate knurled stickpin. The enamel work is 90% intact. The face measures 9/16 of an inch wide by 7/8 inches tall. A rarer piece.
