Alsace “Opferring Elsass” NSDAP Supporter Pin
Opferring Elsass Mitgliedsabzeichen. Worn by ethnic Germans (Volksdeutsche) living in Alsace-Lorraine region (France) with NSDAP allegiance. It is constructed out die struck zinc base. The round shaped obverse features a mobile swastika encircled with: “Opferring Elsass”" (Sacrificial Ring Alsace). The reverse is maker marked: “Foerster & Barth Pforzheim” and has a horizontally crimped-on well working steel pin assembly. Unfinished, as most are. It measures 7/8 of an inch in dimeter.
