DRKB Veterans Association Armband
Here we have a 1st pattern DKRB (Deutscher Reichs-Krieger-Bund) Veteran Association Membership Armband (Armbinde)! It is constructed out of a thick blue wool base with a stitched on insignia consisting of a white rayon backing with black and red machine embroidered cotton thread. The rectangular shaped obverse features a centrally placed shield shaped insignia, which features; the Kyffhäuser monument on a white field and is above a tri-color (schwarz-weiss-rot) National flag which is bordered in black stitching, which is stitched to a blue wool base. The top and bottom are folded over and stitched together. It is well worn with age toning and mothing holes throughout. It measures approximately 7.5 inches long by 4 inches tall. An inexpensive option!
