2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger

A M1937 Fliegerdolch. The unmarked blade on this one has minor age and one "nail catcher" to one edge like some kid hit a sharp edge with it playing swords or such. I have not tried to stone it out. The dent-free scabbard has nice dark finish with excellent detail and nice aluminum bands that nicely match the hilt. The throat is secured by two unturned side screws. The crossguard and pommel are aluminum. This really sets off the orange trylon grip. The grip shows wear and some soil but no cracks or chips. Interesting wire wrap.
