Extraseitengewehr by Emil Voos of Solingen. The bright plated blade on this one has some light wear, scratches and scuffs. The stamped maker mark is clear. The plating has some gray and the odd scuff. It has a sharp tip. The blade rates Exc+. The buffer pad is lost. The steel based black painted scabbard retains 95%+ of the original finish with a few surface marks, spidering and oxidizing. It continues to remain completely dent free! The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The scabbard fits the hilt perfectly! The zinc-alloy based nickel plated hilt looks good retaining 98%+ plating coverage. The button continues to function well. The grip plates have surface imperfections and I thing the obverse had a piece out and was glued back in. They are tightly secured with 2 nickel rivets. A nice supple frog remains.
