Polizei Offizier Sable.The 33" blade on this one looks great. It has a nice matte finish, with a solid fit and perfectly ended tip! The blade rates NM. It shows just the bit of age towards the tip I have not tried to clean. The steel based, black painted scabbard looks great! It has no dents and continues to hold 98% paint. It shows the light wear. The steel based nickel plated fittings retain 97% plating. The top fitting is tightly secured by two screws. They continue to show nice details with a decorative interweaving design. The steel based nickel plated hilt and d-guard also remain in great condition! It retains 97% plating with some light oxidizing I have not tried to clean. The end of the quillion terminates with an elegant drilled knob. The chip and crack-free hardwood black grip looks good. It is also tightly secured with the correct nickel wire wrap, which is also secured to the reverse by a horizontal plate. The tightly secured Police eagle is beautifully detailed with an excellent fit! Just minor wear. The ferrule remains looking good with nicely detailed leaves and acorns. The pommel nut is quite correct. Overall a superior conditioned example!
