Dove Head Army Sword by WKC
Wehrmacht Sable! The 29" blade on this one rates an easy Exc++.There is the odd surface scratch/scuff but that's about it. The blade is really clean with no sharpening, pitting or stains. The tip is perfect and the obverse is stamped with the WKC knights head mark The original brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The black enamel painted scabbard shows some wear with surface scratches/crazing/scuffs throughout. The scabbard remains dent free and the throat is secured by two unturned dome head screws. The heavy solid brass hilt and P-guard are beautifully detailed! The languet features an open winged political style eagle. This design is shown in Angolia's reference pg 139. The black celluloid grip is near perfect. The brass triple wire wrap is nice and tight. A great piece to add to your collection!
